It's very beautiful for about a month in Spring and a couple months in summer but it is generally inaccessible to any vehicle with low clearance. There are rattlesnakes and ticks. The road is very full of ruts and rocks and holes so it is best for walking not driving. Four wheeled vehicles are not allowed everywhere and it is well posted and also the game and fish is just a mile away so this area is very well patrolled. That is what makes it at all attractive is you know that the game and fish is keeping an eye on things! Thank you Game and Fish!
This place is really cool. I love driving past on my way through the canyon and seeing what they do for conservation in our region.
